From Beaches to Polar Bears Terms & Conditions
1. SPONSOR
The “From Beaches to Polar Bears” Promotion (the “Contest”) is conducted by Gold Star Canadian Tours, located at 10060 Jasper Ave, Tower 1, Suite 2020, Edmonton AB, T5J 3R8 (the “Sponsor”).
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, excluding residents of Quebec. Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
3. PROMOTIONAL CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins at 12:00 AM (local time) on June 18, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM (local time) on August 31, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).
4. HOW TO ENTER
There are two ways to enter:
a) Automatic Entry with Purchase:
Each Polar Bear Expedition ticket purchased during the Promotional Contest Period will provide the purchaser with one (1) automatic entry into the Contest. Multiple tickets booked or purchased equal multiple entries for each additional seat.
b) No Purchase Necessary:
To enter without making a purchase, handwrite a 500-word essay on “Why I want to go on a Polar Bear Tour” along with your full name, complete mailing address, phone number, and email address, and mail it to:

All no-purchase entries must be received by August 31, 2025 to be eligible.
5. PRIZE
There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of a Summer getaway to Kelowna, BC, that must be used by June 30, 2026, including:
Return airfare for two (2) to Kelowna, BC (from a major Canadian airport)
3-night accommodation (Deluxe Guest Room) with our Kelowna Hotel Partner (Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort)
Food vouchers for one (1) dinner for two (2) people at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort
Travel voucher for one (1) wine tour for two (2) people in the Okanagan Region
Travel voucher for one (1) spa day visit for two (2) people at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort
Approximate retail value (ARV): [$3,000 CAD]
Specific travel dates and details to be determined by the Sponsor in consultation with the winner.
Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
6. WINNER SELECTION
One (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw on or around the week of October 25, 2025.
The selected entrant will be notified by email or phone within five (5) business days of the draw. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
Correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question, and
Complete and return a Declaration of Compliance and Release form within seven (7) days of notification.
Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and an alternate entrant may be selected.
7. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
8. PRIVACY
By entering this Contest, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by the Sponsor for the purposes of administering this Contest and as otherwise permitted or required by law. Your information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for the administration of the Contest.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time, without notice, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest.
The Sponsor shall not be responsible for technical, typographical, or other errors in the administration of the Contest.
10. GOVERNING LAW
The Contest and these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding the residents of Quebec.
